Metropolitan Meat, Seafood & Poultry is delighted to announce the addition of two cheddar-style cheeses from local High Country Creamery. Based out of Grantsville, Maryland (just about a ½ hour north of Deep Creek Lake) High Country Creamery received a 2017 Bronze Medal for their “Rev Reserve” coffee-infused cheddar – available in 5-6 pound wheels. The “Rev” also received a gold medal from the 2017 Maryland Cheese Guild.

In addition, Metro has added the High Country Creamery “Extra Sharp Cheddar”, aged 24 months. This cheese is semi-firm and extra creamy with a mildly sharp finish with slightly fruity notes. Perfect for a grilled cheese or a juicy grilled burger.
